An ancient process

Fermentation has been around us for many years, present in our everyday diets - bread, yogurt and cheese are great examples! Fermentation mode ensures that temperature and humidity remain constant throughout the fermentation process and allows you to create recipes with more authentic flavours and without artificial additives.

Irresistible caramel

From a smooth, golden transparent syrup to a brown, intense and slightly bitter caramel, Sugar stages mode allows you to prepare different types of caramel recipes: liquid caramel, caramel sauce, solid caramel, toffees or salted caramel.

Perfect fluffiness, bite and consistency

Rice is daily ingredient in many parts of the world, and with the Rice Cooker mode cooking rice and grains like bulgur, spelt or millet has never been easier. Since the rice is cooked directly in the mixing bowl and not in the simmering basket, it allows you to cook directly in broth, which is absorbed, thus flavouring the rice and resulting in a pleasant texture.

The satisfying sound of a sauté

High Temperature mode allows sautéing, browning and caramelizing onions, vegetables and meat. This cooking method gives more colour and flavour to recipes, such as sauces, stews, rice or pasta.

Juicy, intense flavours

Sous-vide is a technique of cooking food in temperature controlled water, and it is also a great way to preserve food! To start, there are some useful materials to have on hand which include: • Vacuum machine for easier sealing • Kitchen tongs • Bags suitable for vacuum cooking • Blade Cover, the Thermomix® accessory that helps optimize the quantities you can cook
