Ingredients

Marinated Beef

  • 2 tsp honey
  • 70 g teriyaki sauce
  • 20 g sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 30 g sake
  • 20 g lime juice
  • 20 g water
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 15 g fresh root ginger, peeled, cut in round slices (2 mm)
  • ½ - 1 fresh red chilli, deseeded, to taste
  • 200 g beef, cut in slices (1 mm)

Steamed Rice

  • 1000 g water
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt
  • 180 g short grain rice
    or 180 g sushi rice

Beef Teriyaki

  • 10 g sesame oil
  • 250 g sugar snap peas
  • 20 g water
  • 8 spring onions, sliced (3 mm)
  • fine sea salt, to taste
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds, to garnish
