  • 1 tsp lemon juice (see tip)

  • 100 g unsalted butter diced
  • 130 g golden caster sugar
  • 1 pinch fine sea salt
  • 200 g milk bread cut in slices
    or brioche bread cut in slices
  • 6 medium eggs
  • 200 g whole milk
  • 120 g ricotta cheese
  • 30 g vanilla custard powder
  • 1 vanilla pod (see tip)
  • 1 Tbsp icing sugar
