  • 8 - 12 fresh bird's eye chillies green, trimmed and deseeded if preferred
  • 6 garlic cloves, cut into thin slices
  • 1 - 2 tbsp black mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp white sugar
  • 2 pinches ground turmeric
  • ¼ tsp salt
